CirioTomato Products

Fresh Tomatoes and Tomato Products are a must in my culinary corner and I really cannot imagine without them. Every supermarket visit does call for a load of these into my trolleys.  Be it a curry, pasta sauce, pizza sauce, soup, rice and what not, I definitely need to have them.

Folks who follow my blog would know how much I love capturing fresh Tomatoes and cooking with them.

TOMATO products

Even before the team at Cirio sent me a bundle of Cirio products to test and enjoy, I have had them in my pantry. What better can it get when you are sent a bunch of your favourite goodies! Founded in Italy 1856, Cirio produces a wonderful range of Italian Tomato Products in Jars, tins and cartons. Our supermarkets are loaded with tons of Tomato products in different ranges. But if you have used a Cirio product at least once, you will never look back.

‘The quality of Cirio’s preserves comes from the exceptional quality of the 100% Italian raw produce and the extreme care we take throughout the growing, picking, processing and packaging process’. Fragrant and Tasty with a rich red hue ,Cirio brings freshness of tomatoes making every dish really special !!

Passata comes in two flavours Classica, velvety and smooth, and Napoletana with Mediterranean herbs. This versatile product is ideal for creating sauces and dishes which require a longer cooking time.Be it a Curry or a Pasta sauce, thick rich Passata just does the wonderful job in a jiffy.

Peeled Plum Tomatoes, Finely Chopped Tomatoes, and Crushed Tomatoes are all intense in flavours, texture and taste. Their products are simply richer, sweeter, less acidic and loaded with abundant Tomatoes.

These tomato divinities in the little pots have saved me on many occasions, be it dinner time or when I have run out of fresh tomatoes. There was once when I had a bunch of friends who gatecrashed one evening and crushed tomatoes made the base to a delectable rich Curry.
Most of the tomato products contain no preservatives, requiring to store in the refrigerator at 0-0.5°C after opening and consume within 3 days.
