Start your day with a refreshing cup of Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice! This sugar-free Orange Juice is incredibly refreshing and healthy to enjoy any time of the day. Free from additives or added sugar, this homemade orange juice is so much better than store-bought pressed juice. It’s delicious on its own or enjoy as a part of a juice blend like this orange carrot ginger juice.
ABOUT THIS RECIPE
There is no doubt homemade orange juice is by far the best, loaded with Vitamin C, and no added sugar! You really know what goes into it and it’s only Orange. Making fresh orange juice takes a little more effort than picking a bottle/ carton of juice from the store and the difference is quality!
I craved Fresh Pressed Orange juice when I was expecting my daughter 8 years ago. It was not viable to go indulge in a glass of orange juice for 4£ every day and the store was not accessible too. So I bought a Philips Electric citrus press for 15£. And I made fresh orange juice literally every day and recovered the cost for this juicer in merely 1 week. And to date my Philip Citrus Press is doing well.
Be it for picky eaters – you can choose to enjoy Orange Juice with pulp or without it. Strain the juice through the mesh sieve and you have freshly squeezed orange juice without bits. My son likes to double strain the juice as he hates the pulp pieces.
You can make this juice with a different variety of oranges like Navel Orange, Jafa Orange, or even Valencia and Blood Orange. The type of orange you will use will determine the sweetness of the juice and this is completely a personal choice.
The best part about this Freshly squeezed homemade Orange Juice is that It is really easy. And anyone can make it. I have literally offloaded making Orange Juice to my kids. They find it so interesting and exciting when they make it in my Philips electric citrus juicer.
And it is really very safe for younger kids to make!
WHY MAKE THIS RECIPE?
Sugar-Free Orange Juice has never tastes so good as enjoying a piece of fruit.
Because Store-bought Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice and ‘from concentrate’ OJ are actually not as healthy as you think. It is loaded with added sugar, flavors, preservatives, and additives.
Making Fresh Homemade Orange Juice is so much cheaper than the ones you buy from a juice centre! A tall glass of Citrus Juice from the Juice center costs about 3-4£ when you can make at least twice or thrice the amount of juice at home.
Takes only 5 minutes!
You only need 1 Ingredient and it can be any variety of orange you fancy. If you like, add in any of the opt-ins like carrots and ginger. I love fresh Orange Carrot Ginger Juice and it’s so good for you.
Juicing is a quick, easy and healthy way to include the goodness of citrus in your diet. It is also the best way to use up any ugly-looking produce.
You have excess oranges and you are wondering what to do!
It’s a great family exercise at breakfast time or brunch time! Get your kids involved in making this juice while you are making breakfast.
You can make it in at least three – four ways – Citrus Juicer, Slow Juicer, Cold Presser and Blender.
Is Fresh Orange Juice Good for you?
100% Orange is so much good for you. Regularly sipping into a cup of orange juice has so many health benefits. Rich in Vitamin C, It is also known to boost the immune system.
Is it Cheaper to Squeeze your own Orange Juice?
Absolutely! A cup of fresh Orange Juice costs you about 3-4£ from the juice centre. If you were to make it at home, you can make at least 2 -3 times the quantity for the same price.

Store freshly squeezed orange juice in a glass bottle for up to 2 days in the refrigerator or up to a few months in the freezer. Transfer the prepared juice into ice cube trays and freeze it for later. Use them in smoothies or soups!
Do not store fresh citrus juices in plastic containers – due to their acidic nature.

So cuteee! I love your blog and the way you have written the post. Good to see your lil one helping out. I love orange juice and I usually buy KDD Harvest’s orange juice as I have seen that most of the other orange juices are bitter. After reading your post I am tempted to try this with my lil princess.
