Blueberry Mango Oatmeal Smoothie – Yummy, Healthy Breakfast Drink! What more can you ask for? 

We went on a partial week long Smoothie Kick a few weeks back. Blame it on the weather!! It was super hot that we could barely stay inside the house.. As much as possible we stayed out in the evenings, maximising the fresh breezy air { if any } outside …  And all I wanted to do was a quicky breakfast with one whizz here and there..  When a Breakfast drink is so easy, why think of skipping it.

As we set into summer, my love affair with Mangoes get intense. I tend to include my favourite fruit in every aspect of our meal right from Breakfast to Dessert.   This love affair with Mangoes is just like my obsession with white.

Blueberry Mango Oatmeal Smoothie

We tend to use whites right from our door mats to our curtains at home…  Sometimes its craziness!! And to keep up this madness I We could go to any extent. We lived curtain- less in our new moved residence coz we didn’t get white curtains..  For a change, reluctantly I convinced my better half to try a coloured curtain.. Trust me it didn’t stay longer than day.  As he walked in home , after work – the very first thing he noticed was the dark screens and it was distracting. The rooms appeared smaller than it should..  We hated it!  Right after the cuppa in the evening, we removed the curtains, packed it safe and stashed it deep inside the wardrobe.

We tried adding colors to our bath with navy blue bath mats.. And they didn’t last for more than 2 months..   Craziness overloaded isn’t it?  But we both are like that when it comes to decor.. And white just makes it large, bright and bold!  And to a large extent minimalism in terms of home decor props.

How do you guys like to set your decor?

Blueberry Mango Oatmeal Smoothie

Serves 2 | Time Taken 5 minutes

Blueberry Mango Oatmeal Smoothie

1 Cup Mango
1 Cup Blueberries
1/2 Cup Oatmeal
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1 Cup Yogurt
1 Cup Ice
1/2 Water { if needed }

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and whizz. Add a little water if needed to obtain desired consistency. Serve Chilled.
