Samosa Chole Chaat

Samosa Chole Chat

Talk about Street Food and we all start drooling!! No matter what time of the day it is,  I can reach out for that bowl of awesomeness – Samosa Chole Chaat . Yay or Nay Guys?

Offcourse Yay!!  I posted a prelude on Instagram and it was fab to see the response I received, about how much people around the world love Samosa Chole Chaat.

Chaat often involves a bit of preparation. Putting them together is the easiest thing to do and I love it.
Talking about preparations – since we are making Samosa Chole Chaat, it is quite obvious we need Samosa’s.

You can use Store bought ones or even make it at home. I have a recipe for Airfry-ed Samosa’s and the normal Samosa’s .. You can check out both and try them too if you have enough time.

Well, its very rare that we will have any left over samosa’s after snack.. So I have ended up buying them for Chaat or stealthily tuck away some of the homemade samosa’s..

As we drive our son to one of his regular weekend lessons, we have the most amazing Samosa seller a few meters away. With so much of temptation, we end up buying a few nearly every weekend and enjoy them over a cuppa in the evening. They are so so delicious that anyone who knows about Chahal’s, will know how amazing are their Vegetable Samosa’s.

Samosa Chole Chaat

That weekend when my plans to make Samosa Chole Chaat was firm, I bought a few more extra samosa’s. With 2 mandatory Chutney’s Green Coriander Chutney & Tamarind Chutney always stocked up in the refrigerator, I quickly made an easy Chole masala to go over the Chaat.

Well what’s Chole? They are Chickpeas curry in Onion Tomato gravy. This curry can be made in a quick and elaborate way.. and I chose to make my homestyle quick version.

Just need to arrange them in a platter/ bowl in order and add the chutneys, yogurt, spice powders, salad vegetables and serve.
