Beet Apple Ginger Juice (Blender & Juicer Method)

This is my simple Beet Apple Ginger Juice recipe made with just 3 ingredients in 10 minutes. Make it in a blender or a slow juicer — both methods work beautifully.

If you've been wondering how to make beetroot apple ginger juice at home, this easy recipe walks you through it step by step.

We love making fresh juices and smoothies at home. It’s one of the easiest ways to use up fresh produce. And honestly, there’s no season for it. Whether it’s orange carrot juice, apple celery juice, or this beetroot apple ginger juice, we enjoy them all year round.

Every time I visit the supermarket here in the UK, I notice those tiny 60ml ginger shots priced at £2. Most are simply apple and ginger, sometimes with beetroot. For the same price, I can make at least 300ml of fresh beetroot-apple-ginger juice or even a small batch of ginger shots at home using real ingredients.

If you’re using a slow juicer, you’ll get a more cold-pressed beetroot juice with a smoother texture. If using a blender, just add a little water to help it blend smoothly.

👩🏻‍🍳Top Tips for Making Fresh Beetroot Apple Ginger Juice

  • When using a blender, I like to cut the apples and beets into wedges or smaller pieces first. Makes blending so much easier.
  • If you don’t want pink fingers, wear gloves — beets stain!
  • Peel the beets before juicing.
  • Cut the apples just before blending so they stay nice and fresh.
  • For a super smooth juice (my kids love it this way), strain it through a sieve.
  • Always use fresh ingredients — it really makes a difference.

Beets – I use large red beets. You can use 2 medium or 3 small. Peel before juicing.
Apple – Red Gala apples are our favourite. Green apples also work well.
Ginger – Use fresh ginger root. Scrape the skin gently with the back of a spoon to avoid waste.

Variation

  • Carrots – Add carrots and turn this into a classic ABC Juice recipe (Apple Beet Carrot).
  • Lemon – A squeeze of lemon adds brightness and balances the flavour.

Blender Method (Blender Beet Juice Recipe)

Step 1: Add beets, apples, ginger and water into a blender. Secure the lid.

Step 2: Blend until smooth. Strain through a sieve if you prefer smooth juice.

Serve the fresh juice immediately or over ice.

Slow Juicer Method

Step 1: Feed beets, apples and ginger into the slow juicer chute.

Step 2: Juice collects from one spout while pulp separates into another container.

Stir the juice and serve fresh. Add ice if preferred.

🥤Serving

Serve immediately for the freshest taste.
In warmer months, serve over ice for a chilled version.

❄️Storing the Juice

This fresh beet apple ginger juice is best enjoyed fresh.

If needed, pour the fresh beet juice into airtight glass bottle and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. The colour may darken slightly and natural separation will happen — just give it a good shake before serving.

Ingredients

  • 360 g beets washed and halved (2 medium or 1 large)
  • 250 g apples cored and halved (about 2 Gala apples)
  • 10 g fresh ginger root about a ½-inch slice
  • 2 cups water only if using a blender, optional

Instructions

Blender Beetroot Apple Juice

  • Add beets, apples, ginger and water into a high-speed blender. Secure the lid.
  • Start on low speed, then increase to high and blend until smooth.
  • Strain through a sieve if you prefer smooth juice.
  • Serve the fresh juice immediately or over ice.

Slow Juicer method

  • Feed beets, apples and ginger into the slow juicer chute.
  • Juice collects from one spout while pulp separates into another container.
  • Stir the juice and serve fresh.
