I do claim this recipe as the BEST CREAMY HOMEMADE FUDGE with condensed milk. Old fashioned Chocolate Fudge is made with milk, but I have moved up the ladder to make it slightly easier and made them using milkmade { as referred in India } or condensed milk :). They are so delicious.. isn't it.
WHAT ARE INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR CHOCOLATE FUDGE?
Condensed Milk or milkmade
Milk
Demerara Cane Sugar or White Granulated Sugar - Demerara sugar gives the condensed milk a little bit intense colour
Unsalted Butter
Combination of Chocolate or just Dark Chocolate
Liqueur is optional. I prefer not to add liqueur as my it will keep my little guests away from this delicious homemade fudge.
If you would like to make Plain Fudge, just leave out the chocolate in the recipe.

HOW TO STORE THE ULTIMATE FUDGE?
Wrap and store the Fudge in room temperature in airtight containers or ziplock bags. This fudge remains fresh for at least 2 weeks.
Alternatively, seal them in airtight containers and store them in the refrigerator. Homemade fudge will stay fresh for a minimum of 3 weeks.

Ingredients
- 1 Can ( 397g) Condensed Milk
- 450 g Demerara Cane Sugar / White Granulated Sugar
- 150 ml Milk
- 115 g Unsalted Butter
- 200 g Dark Chocolate chopped
- 2-3 tablespoon Liqueur Optional
Instructions
- Grease and base line a 20cm (8”) square tin with a parchment paper.
- Heat the milk, sugar and butter in a large, non-stick saucepan over a low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Bring to the boil and simmer over a low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring continuously and scraping the base of the pan.At this stage, a lava kind of bubbling will be seen . This is the deciding stage. Lift a spoonful of the mix and drop it into a jug of ice-cold water. Check if a soft ball of fudge is formed. We need to get this stage right. If the fudge ball is very soft , pop the mix back into the pan and stir for another 3-4 min. Repeat the check process.
- You could alternatively use the thermometer to check the fudge. Temperature should be approximately 118°C
- Remove the fudge from the heat and Stir in the dark chocolate. Continue stirring, beat continuously with a wooden spoon until thick and cake like (about 10-15 minutes). This is the stage where you need to put in all ur muscle power.. No cheating ok...!! This will alter ur texture.
- Pour into the prepared tin and leave to cool before cutting into squares. Close ur eyes and enjoy every bite of it...You will come for a second serving I bet!!
Notes
- To one part , Gently stir in the dark and white chocolate
- Second part,Add dark chocolate and brandy
- Third part , add no chocolate.
