I am a fan of creating no-churn ice creams, like this popular 3-ingredient mango ice cream and strawberry ice cream, which have received great feedback from my readers. Using the same method, I have created this delicious Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream.
It’s incredibly easy to make, requiring only a few basic ingredients. To start, mix together the condensed milk and cocoa powder. Then, add the cream and beat until stiff peaks form. Next, gently fold in the chocolate chips and transfer the mixture to a container. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours.
Before serving, allow the ice cream to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Scoop and enjoy the rich and creamy homemade no churn chocolate ice cream.

Ingredients
To make this delicious chocolate ice cream, you will need only three ingredients and about 10 minutes of preparation time. If you want to make it extra chocolatey, simply top it with lots of chocolate chips to create Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.
- Condensed Milk: For the best texture and consistency, I prefer to use Nestle Sweetened Condensed Milk in my ice cream recipes.
- Double Cream or Heavy Cream: To get the right texture, double cream is best for whipping up stiff peaks. This step is crucial for making smooth and creamy scoops.
- Cocoa Powder: A good quality cocoa powder, such as Green & Black Organic Cocoa, is essential for adding a rich chocolate flavour to the ice cream.
- Chocolate Chips (optional): While not necessary, I love to add chocolate chips for an extra chocolatey treat.
These ingredients, combined with a bit of time and patience, will result in a heavenly, creamy, and indulgent homemade chocolate ice cream.
