ABOUT THIS ORANGE CARROT & GINGER JUICE RECIPE

When our friends visited us a few months back, she introduced us to the most wonderful juice combinations. I can’t thank her enough for introducing us to beet carrot apple juice ( ABC JUICE ) and this orange carrot juice.

We already have a few favorites like Apple Pear Juice, Watermelon Juice, and Pineapple Ginger Juice.

Fresh homemade juice beats carton juices any day! Isn’t it?

This immune-boosting orange carrot juice is easy and healthy. Made with only 3 real food ingredients, this juice is fresh and kids friendly. It’s naturally Gluten-Free, Vegan, Plant-Based, and Dairy Free.

If you kids don’t like ginger like mine, simply leave it out and make it with oranges and carrots. They are still so delicious and vibrant.

HOW TO MAKE THIS FRESH ORANGE CARROT JUICE?

This Fresh Juice combination is really easy to make, but slightly longer than making a smoothie.

HI-SPEED BLENDER– Peel the oranges, carrot, and ginger. Add them to the blender and process until smooth.

Place a nut bag or a mesh strainer on pyrex jug and pour the juice on the strainer. Set the Pulp aside and pour the juice in a glass.

JUICER – Peel the oranges, juice, and set them aside. Now add the carrot and ginger through the juicer feed and extract the juice. Mix them together and enjoy. I use a Panasonic MJ 500 and have been using them for the last 4 years. You can read more about Panasonic MJ500 slow juicer in this post.

Do not discard the pulp – They are delicious for making flatbreads, stews, and soups.

Health Benefits of Orange Carrot Juice

This Orange Carrot Ginger Juice has many health benefits to offer. The combination of fruit and vegetable juice is rich in multivitamins, beta-carotene, minerals, and antioxidants. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties that are extremely good for you.

Can I drink Carrot Juice everyday?

You can drink carrot juice up to 1/2 cup or 4 ounces every day. Although Carrot is good for health, drinking too much carrot may lead to carotenemia, which is a temporary skin condition. You may also notice a yellowish tint on your skin coming from excess beta-carotene in the blood.

Serving Suggestions

This Orange Carrot Juice stays fresh for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator. You can store it in airtight glass jars. On warmer days, serve over ice. We like this fresh vibrant juice straight out of the juicer!

I remember having something very similar to this in Germany years ago and it was great – both good for you and tasty. Works really well with some sparkling water, too. Love the photos, it looks so bright and inviting!
