This easy Strawberry Lassi is so creamy and delicious! It is made with Strawberries and a handful of ingredients (dairy or dairy-free) for the perfect refreshing drink.

Two bottles of strawberry lassi

Lassi refers to any yogurt-based drink in India; it can be sweet lassi or salty lassi. Sweet lassi's in other words is also a simple Yogurt Smoothie.

One of the most popular Lassi known to everyone is Mango Lassi. It is sweet, creamy, and a firm favorite of everyone in the family. Just like Mango lassi, my kids love this Strawberry lassi too. It is a fantastic way to use up excess strawberries in your refrigerator or frozen strawberries.

You can make this really easy refreshing strawberry lassi with strawberries, yogurt, and milk ( dairy or dairy-free), a bit of sweetener of your choice. Once you have all the ingredients, simply add the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until creamy.

Then transfer to cute milk bottles or cups, pop a straw and enjoy creamy sweet Strawberry lassi. You can dress up this drink with ice cream and strawberry or serve it as a stand-alone drink.

Additional flavors like Ground Cardamom and Rosewater can be added for an Indian spin to the Strawberry lassi.

For Savory/ Salty Lassi - try this Cucumber Lassi or Masala Chaas.

Why you'll love this recipe?

Healthy - Incredibly refreshing Lassi made with Strawberries, Yogurt, and milk. Adding a sweetener is optional. You can use refined free sweetener, just in case.

Super Quick & Easy - The recipe is indeed quick and easy, as there are no frills in the process of making. Simply add the ingredients in no particular order and blend till smooth.

Dietary needs - Vegetarian, Gluten-Free. Can be Vegan if you use Vegan Yogurt and Vegan Milk.

What can I use instead of Sugar?

To Sugar Substitutes for White Sugar in this Lassi recipe is Honey, Maple Syrup, Agave Syrup Monk Fruit, or even Stevia.

When can I enjoy this Strawberry lassi?

Enjoy as a breakfast smoothie, Post work-out drink, or as an elevenses drink. Great as After School Drink too.

Hi Sandhya! I think this is my first comment in your blog.. Your photography skills are marvellous! and I won't say that again for every post as it goes without saying! ;-P So I would rather talk about the recipe itself!
I am not 100% sure of the difference between smoothie and lassi - as far as I can think it is the quantity and the type of the yogurt used. Also for Lassi, traditionally we whisk the yogurt and for smoothie we just add all to blender and blend. Flavoured lassi is made with fruit concentrate than the actual fruit itself. Now, there is now right and wrong way in cooking as long as it comes delicious and is wiped off clean! So chill..
