Ingredients
2CupsRaw Cornflakes { Makai PohaAvil Poha }
1/4CupCashew-nuts
1/2CupPeanuts
10-12Curry Leaves
1TspTurmeric Powder
1/2 - 1TspChilli Powder
1TbspRoasted Gram Dal { Pottukadalai }
1TspPowdered Sugar
Salt to Taste
Oil for frying
Instructions
Heat oil in a deep bottom pan until hot enough { say moderately hot }. Deep fry corn flakes until they puff, expand and become crunchy and crispy. Drain them onto kitchen towel
Deep fry roasted gram dal peanuts, cashew nuts, and raisins { optional }, curry leaves and set them aside.
When the mixture is still warm, add the turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and sugar and gently mix them together.
Allow the Cornflakes mixture to cool down and store them in an air tight container.
Notes
Raisins can be added to the recipe if you like. (optional)
