Place the cut potatoes in a pan of boiling water for 5 minutes, until tender when tested with a skewer. This process removes the extra starch from the outer. Drain them onto a kitchen towel and pat them dry.
Pull the basket from the air fryer and place the seasoned potato chunks in them. Slide it back in the air fryer and fry for 2 minutes at 180C.
Shake them around and cook for further 8 minutes.
Cook for a further of 8 minutes and shake them around.
Don't forget to check in between and shake it up, so that the potato chunky fries cook evenly.
Arrange the marinated potato chunks in a single row. Drizzle a little more olive oil on it. Bake in a preheated oven of 180 C for 25-30 minutes, flipping once in between.
