Roasted Cauliflower Steaks - Thick sliced Cauliflower Steaks are roasted with cajun seasoning and oven baked. Serve with a delicious Cilantro Avocado Chutney. ( Vegan, Vegetarian & GF )

Ingredients
Ingredients for Roasted Cauliflower Steaks
  • 2 Heads of medium sized cauliflower
  • 4-5 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice or juice of 1 lemon
  • salt & pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Chopped Parsley
  • Lime Wedges
  • Toasted Pinenuts
Ingredients for Green Coriander chutney
  • 50 g coriander leaves / cilantro leaves
  • 1 medium avocado
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 Green Chilli optional
Instructions
CAJUN ROASTED CAULIFLOWER STEAKS RECIPE
  1. Wash cauliflower and pat dry.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  3. To prepare cauliflower steak, remember to cut the cauliflower in thick chunky slices, roughly 1 inch along with the stalk. By doing so, you can keep the steak in one piece.

  4. Layer the cauliflower steak slices on a lined baking sheet. Brush olive oil on either side of the slices. Generously drizzle lemon juice all over.
  5. Sprinkle generous portion of the cajun seasoning powder all over the steak.
  6. Place the cajun spiced cauliflower steak in the oven for 25 minutes. Flip them over and bake for another 10 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot with Cilantro Avocado Chutney.
Green CORIANDER CHUTNEY RECIPE | CILANTRO AVOCADO CHUTNEY
  1. Add all the ingredients in the blender and whizz until smooth. Add more water, if needed.
