  • 3 Cups or 12 oz Cranberries
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest
  • 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • Vanilla Extract Optional
  1. Add orange juice, cranberries, sugar, orange zest and cinnamon stick to the inner pot. Add Vanilla extract to the pot at this stage if using.

  2. Secure the lid and turn the vent to sealing position.
  3. Pressure Cook on HIGH for 3minutes. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes. Quick Pressure Release afterwards. { Remember to account for the pressure build up time, which is roughly 12-14 minutes }

  4. When the Pin drops, open the Instant Pot Lid.
  5. Remove the spices with the tongs and discard.
  6. Press SAUTE . Stir the sauce with laddle and they tend to mash up in the process.
  7. Allow the sauce to boil down for 4-6 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool before serving. The cranberry sauce tends to thicken as they cool down.
  8. Transfer the prepared Cranberry Sauce to a serving dish and serve with your favourite Christmas meal.
Recipe Notes

For refined free Cranberry sauce, use 1/2 cup of Honey or Maple Syrup.

If you like you Sauce with a bit of tart, reduce the sugar by 1/4 cup.
