Baked Methi Mathri Recipe
Methi Mathri is a delicious Tea time snack, perfect for all year around. Good news! This mathri is baked and not fried, so enjoy them guilt free.

Ingredients

Whole Wheat Flour
¼
cup
Kasuri Methi
Fenugreek leaves , fresh or dry

Ground Turmeric

tsp
Red chilli powder

tsp.
Ground Coriander
¼

Ground Cumin

Salt

Sunflower oil or Vegetable oil
Water as needed
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, add flour, kasuri methi, spice powders and salt. Stir to combine.
Add the oil to the flour mixture and rub the ingredients together. The mixture will turn crumbly.
Now add a little water at a time to knead the dough for at least 5- 7 minutes.
Cover and rest the dough for 20 - 30 minutes. Divide the dough into 2 balls.
Pick one ball at a time, roll flat into 1/4 inch thickness.
Using a pizza cutter, cut squares or cut into circles using cookie cutter.
Prick the mathris with a fork and brush with little oil.
Bake in Preheated oven at 180 C for 18 -20 minutes, flipping once in between. For extra crispness, bake a little longer.
Transfer the Mathri to a wire rack to cool down. Once cooled, the mathri tends to crisp a little more.
Store the baked methi matri in air tight container
