Instructions
Place the cumin seeds in a pan and roast until become fragrant, crisp and browned. ( roughly 4 -5 minutes )
Remove from flame and transfer to a plate to cool down.
Now transfer to a grinder and make a smooth fine powder of cumin seeds.
Store this roasted ground powder in an airtight jar in a cool dried place.
Notes
Pan Toast the cumin seeds in a dry pan in a medium to low flame.Do not leave the pan unattended, as the cumin can brown too much and can become unpleasant.Allow the seeds to cool down completely.Remember to keep the surface free from moisture.
