Ingredients
1CupYogurt
⅓-½Cup Red Onion sliced
1 Green chillidiced
Salt to taste
1Tbspcoriander leaveschopped
Instructions
Place Yogurt in a bowl and whisk it until smooth. If the yogurt is too thick in consistency, add ¼ Cup of water and whisk again to adjust the consistency.
Add sliced onion, green chilli, salt, coriander leaves and mix until combined.
Garnish with more coriander leaves and serve onion raita chilled.

How to make Indian Restaurant-style onion raita?
To make North Indian restaurant-style Onion raitha, add yogurt, sliced onion, salt, 1/2 a tsp ground cumin, 1/2 a tsp chaat masala, diced green chilli, or red chilli powder, and finely chopped coriander leaves. Combine the ingredients together and serve.
How to make raita without onion?
To make Raita without onion, follow my cucumber raita recipe. It does not use any onion.
