KALA CHANA CHAAT

Ingredients

Boiled Kala Chana Tin { Black Chickpeas } or 1 Cup of Dried Black Chickpeas
soaked and boiled **

medium Onion
Chopped finely

Large Tomato
Diced
1/2
Raw mango
Diced

Tbsp
Chopped Coriander leaves/Cilantro

Green chilli
chopped finely { Optional }
1/2
Tsp
Amchur powder
Mango Powder

Tsp
Chat masala
1/2
Tsp
Roasted Cumin Powder
1/2
Tsp
Black Salt
Good Squeeze of Lemon juice
Salt to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well. Adjust the spices by adding more if needed.
While serving the kids, I avoid green chillies..
A little hint of green chillies adds the little heat.
Notes
If you are cooking from scratch, soak the black chickpeas in enough water for at least 6 hours and then pressure cook until soft.
