Kala Chana Chaat

400g Boiled Kala Chana Tin { Black Chickpeas } or 1 Cup of Dried Black Chickpeas, soaked and boiled **
1 medium Onion, Chopped finely
1 Large Tomato, Diced
1/2 Raw mango, Diced
2 Tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves/Cilantro
1 Green chilli, chopped finely { Optional }
1/2 Tsp Amchur powder ( Mango Powder )
1 Tsp Chat masala
1/2 Tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
1/2 Tsp Black Salt
Good Squeeze of Lemon juice
Salt to taste

In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well. Adjust the spices by adding more if needed. While serving the kids, I avoid green chillies..
A little hint of green chillies adds the little heat.

** If you are cooking from scratch, soak the black chickpeas in enough water for atleast 6 hours and then pressure cook until soft.
