ABOUT APPLE CHIPS
Other than Apples, you don’t really need much to make these chips.
To make these incredibly easy apple chips, there are no complicated procedures involved like peeling, slicing, drying and frying it! These crisps have a no-nonsense procedure.
Core the apples if you like, slice it and bake it. Doesn’t it sound easy!!
And above all, I won’t be stopping you from snacking.. you can have as much as you like. And why not when its healthy!
I can highly recommend using a Mandoline Slicer to slice the Apples to uniform thickness. However if you are great with your knife skills, then its super too.
TIPS & SUGGESTIONS
Do not slice Apples with more than 1/8th inch thick. Thin slices of Apples will yield crispy chips. Thicker slices will not be crispy but they will still be delicious.
Coring the Apples is too a personal liking. I prefer to core the apples, as my little ones enjoy snacking on them. There is no worry about the kids choking with the seeds.
Color of the Apple Chip -will depend on the type of apple. After numerous experiments, we found Crispy apples turn lighter whereas Soft sweet apples yield darker chips.
Cooking Time will vary depending on the variety of apples used.

We love to snack on these Apple Chips simply as it is. Sometimes, we also love to chop them into bits and sprinkle on my granola and salads.
My 4 years old little miss thinks – these Apple Chips are best-est things to happen. To get her off this junk snacking, I had made these uncomplicated Baked Apple cinnamon chips and it did work. She doesn’t let anyone grab a single apple chip from her bowl and I don’t stop her from snacking too..

This recipe will give me the perfect excuse to pull my mandolin slicer out of the closet (and it’s by OXO, hello?!). It’s also perfect timing because I have a ton of apples that I’m trying to find inventive ways to use up. This will be a perfect, healthy after-school snack for the kids!

What a delicious recipe. I love the recipe. It’s yummy and tasty. My son loves this recipe. Apple and cinnamon is such a lovely combination. I always prefer a better slicer for slicing the veggie, fruits, that’s why I am using a mandoline slicer for slicing my veggie, fruits.
