Matcha Mango Oatmeal Smoothie

Yes !! You read the title right – the super healthy super delicious Vegan Matcha Mango Oatmeal Smoothie !!

I don’t think, I have to go on with the healthy benefits of Matcha, because it’s the new Green Juice.. And when one of my favourite brands T2Tea sends me a whole selection of Matcha and Fruity Tea’s, I actually went Mama Mia :))

Would you like to try some Raspberry Matcha Popsicles for a change?

Matcha Mango Oatmeal Smoothie

Matcha from T2Tea is certified organic and ground on demand to ensure maximum grassy green freshness. It is a highly prized powdered green tea traditionally used as part of the Japanese tea ceremony. To jazz up and get innovative, they have Cinnamon Matcha that will let you curl and get cozy on the very first sip. Mint matcha will leave you with a crisp freshness that you do want to sip into again !!! Whilst the Chocolate and Matcha are perfect partners when its time for a treat with a healthy note.

With my last batch of Mango still hanging around on the dining table, I decided to give the smoothie a fruity punch. Some mangoes, Oats, Matcha, Honey and Milk. If you are looking for a vegan choice – replace with Almond/ Soya Milk . I have tried them too and it was still delicious !

When H returns from work, we enjoy our cup of tea together chit chatting away for the next 30 minutes catching up on the day. Probably that is the only time of the day when we are not running, with a gadget or with kiddos.  But that evening, as he was back home as always, undid his shoes laces, I offered him the tiniest of the glass of the Smoothie , still when he was standing on the doorstep and was not sure what to expect. He sipped once and gulped it in a go. He picked the large glass of Matcha Mango Oatmeal Smoothie with the straw and it was gone too…  Instant reaction – Delicious !!!

I have loads of mint in my garden and make the following
Glass water, 1 tsp Matcha, juice of a lime, handful of mint, 1 tsp honey, crushed ice
You don’t need a blender just shake in an old jar
