Ingredients
You will need 5 ingredients and only 5 minutes to make this incredibly easy raita.
Yogurt – Always use full-fat yogurt to make a raita. Greek Yogurt will be too thick and it will require diluting.
Onion – Red or White onion works well to make raita. However, I prefer Red Onion in this recipe.
Green Chilli or Jalapenos -Finely sliced green chilli will add a bit of heat to this raita. If you don’t prefer that sharp heat, use jalapenos or 1/8th tsp of red chilli powder. Alternatively, you can just leave it out.
Coriander leaves – Finely dice the coriander leaves and use them in the recipe. Coriander leaves ( Cilantro ) play a huge part in this raita. Also, reserve small coriander leaves for garnishing. They look too pretty to serve.
Salt to taste.
Optional Ingredients – Ground cumin and Chaat masala
